why_eskimo_snow_smallFollowing the critical acclaim of Alopecia, idiosyncratic pop-hop trio Why? pushes further toward the pop/rock end of the musical spectrum with an arrow that still points upward.

As Brother Ali brings another disc of smooth rhymes and banging beats, live instruments help dot his musical horizon and expand his sound.  Meanwhile, the Diablo Swing Orchestra has an unorthodox style of its own, combining boogie-woogie with metal guitar, slap bass, classical cello, ragtime piano, theatrical baritone leads, and operatic falsettos.
