Marissa Nadler Ready to Haunt the States

Marissa NadlerGiven the European success of somber songstress Marissa Nadler, it was only a matter of time before her newest album, Songs III: Bird on the Water, was issued on the other side of the Atlantic. Naturally, a supportive tour has now been announced for select cities in the United States.

Songs III, which Kemado Records will release on August 7, boasts minor-key melodies and Nadler’s trademark haunting, reverb-soaked voice. Its critical acclaim has begun reaching a crescendo in the US, and the acoustic guitarist will be the focus of a well-timed feature in the forthcoming fall issue of ALARM Magazine.

Nadler will perform at four free in-store appearances in early August before hitting the west and east coasts for scattered dates in late August and early September.
