1) The dance aspect. I don’t dance because I have no rhythm in my legs, but if I did…this would be something I could definitely dance to. 2) The thug complex. Team Shadetek made me feel like a complete thug driving in my un-thug-like car as I slapped my hands to everything but the beat. 3) Pigeon neck. As I listened to Pale Fire, I got struck with pigeon neck at least four times. This is when the chin protrudes out away from the chest and then inwards as a pigeon does whilst strutting. The electronic aspect gave Pale Fire a brooding darkness that was refreshing, since most dancehall/hip-hop/electronica I’ve heard is really light. Furthermore, every track on this album has manifold personalities and unique, custom beats that give it the texture worthy of multiple listening sessions. - Gen Wolff Email This
