Incomparable and experimental crooner Tom Waits, whose music career has spanned twenty albums, will be performing for the Friday, May 4 edition of Late Night with Conan O’Brien. Waits’ last release was Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers, and Bastards, a three-disc box set that Anti- released in November of 2006. The set encompasses gruff blues tunes, jazz ballads, experimental numbers, and a bevy of rare or unreleased tracks. The highly unusual singer also recently collaborated with The Book of Knots on “Pray,” a tune from the group’s second album that can be heard at its MySpace page. Email This
