Legendary punk band Bad Brains, which will have its original lineup intact for the release of Build a Nation (Megaforce) on June 26, has seven live performances confirmed between now and early August of 2007. The album, produced by Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys, is the group’s first studio effort in more than ten years. The first single off Build a Nation will be directed by Shavo Odadjian, the bassist of System of a Down. The Boys join the Brains on May 27 at the Sasquatch Festival in Washington, and given what transpired in the video for “Triple Trouble,” the New York MCs better not do anything to anger the big yeti.
