Gnarls Barkely Complete Video for “Run”

Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo are at it again… Separate they are just mild mannered musicians, but when their powers combine they become the chart toppling force of hip-pop, Gnarls Barkley. Kicking off their second bout of outrageous antics is the video for the first single “Run”. Directed by Guy Shelmerdane and Richard Farmer, the video is centered around a 90’s public access show called City Vibin’

Looming concern over the video’s Harding Test results (which monitor photo sensitivity in television broadcast) led to rumors that MTV and VH1 would not air the video due to concerns regarding liability. A spokes person for the band commented that the rumors are unfounded and that tests indicate the video is fit to broadcast.

Chris Milke, who directed the “Gone Daddy Gone” video, is slated as the director for “Who’s Gonna Save My Soul”, the second single off of The Odd Couple.

Let the hype begin! The Odd Couple drops on April 8th, 2008.
