The Forecastle Festival, an annual convergence of music, art, and activism in Louisville, Kentucky, has announced the lineup for its two-day event that takes place on July 27 and 28. Most notably heading the music portion of the fest, which has been organized for the sixth time, are De La Soul, Aloha, Chicago Afrobeat Project, Cheer Accident, Girl Talk, Particle, and Mucca Pazza. Record labels Secretly Canadian and sonaBLAST! will both be showcasing their recording artists. In total, Forecastle will feature more than sixty bands, twenty-five artists, and forty-six environmental organizers at The Belvedere. Tickets are individually available for Friday, the 27th and Saturday, the 28th, and concertgoers can also purchase two-day passes. Email This
