If there were a present day version of The Beach Boys, it would be these dudes - but a lot less lame. The music created by The Tyde is somewhat more focused and less hazy than the music created by their Beachwood Sparks counterparts, but unfortunately, the two bands are so similar in style that it’s difficult to define either band’s signature style. The good news is that this stuff is easy to enjoy by anyone who appreciates light guitars and well-sung harmonies. - Chris Smith Email This
