Running from June 9-30, Scion will display artwork – like the Patrick Martinez piece shown above – of some of Los Angeles’ most prominent aerosol and graffiti artists.

Scion’s Los Angeles Installation Gallery, which boasts 4,500 square feet of space, will host the exhibit that serves as a reinterpretation of L.A. culture. The event, named Rendition, will feature pieces from Asylm, Cab, Jorger, Kozem, Klee, Luna, Mear, Panic, Passenger, Patrick Martinez, Skypager, Vyal, and Yem, and will be curated by Eyeone. Kool DJ Sheak One will be providing aural accompaniment.

Asylm is an active member of the street art movement and is a mentor in community organizations such as the Los Angeles Conservation Corps’ Clean & Green program and Artcorps L.A.

Rendition’s opening reception will be on June 9 from 7-10 pm.
