They’ve drawn comparisons to everything from bits of Radiohead to The Beachwood Sparks and Modest Mouse, which is impressive in its own right. But forget about comparisons, and instead focus on this trio’s high level of energy and the creative juices that spill forth from the proverbial musical sausage that is Derdang Derdang. Their guitar tones are beautiful, the vocals crack and hover just above distress with a perfect balance, and the drums are solid.
