Jaguar Love
As potentially enticing (or revolting) as that headline may be, there’s no doubt that teenage pheromones will be in the air for Jaguar Love, a new venture from Johnny Whitney and Cody Votolato of The Blood Brothers and Jay Clark of Pretty Girls Make Graves.

The trio, currently working on a forthcoming full-length album, has already posted four full songs at its MySpace page. Fronted by singer/pianist Whitney, one of the instantly identifiable and effervescently sassy voices in The Blood Brothers, Jaguar Love draws the closest parallels to his Neon Blonde project but maintains slight similarities to his most well-known outfit.

Clark, who played guitar and keyboards for now-defunct melodic rockers Pretty Girls Make Graves, is responsible for drums, bass, and keyboards in Jaguar Love. Votolato, who handles guitar and bass, is the younger brother of Rocky, who released another solo album of acoustic work in June through Barsuk and Second Nature. Both Votolatos played in indie act Waxwing along with Rudy Gajadhar, the younger brother of Blood Brothers and Neon Blonde drummer Mark Gajadhar.

There is not yet word on a release date or label for the album.
